It's located in Aguincho - Serra da Estrela Natural Park. Ideal for those looking for contact with nature and the rural environment. Here you will find the Alvoco River, which due to the configuration of the mountains (in the shape of a valley), has clear waters and extreme temperatures for swimming in the summer. In winter you can enjoy its beauty and harmony. The village is about 30 minutes driving to Torre (highest point in Serra da Estrela), 30 minutes to Seia and 40 minutes to Covilhã.

Casa do Galvão was built and registered in 1947 by António Galvão. Where he lived with his wife, children and grandchildren until he died in 1996.His eldest grandson José Alves ended up inheriting it. He always wanted to prolong his family's memory. So, he advanced to do its restoration in 2008 for tourist purposes and dissemination of the entire Alvoco valley and surroundings.

In 2012 our history as a country house began, offering tourists the best experience in our region.Aguincho, a small village of barons founded in 1747 in the Alvoco valley, welcomes us with its natural beauty and the chirping of birds. It has 23 inhabitants and hundreds of grandchildren who (due to lack of jobs in the region) had to emigrate or move to large cities. Here we continue to practice agricultural activities such as: Grazing, Threshing, Harvesting/pruning, Medronho picking, Plow, Sowing, Olive picking, Bread making, Cresta (honey collection).
